At slot RTP averaging 96%, expected loss across $7,000 of wager is around $280. So the player needs to wager $7,000 with an expected $280 in losses, hoping that variance leaves them with a positive bonus balance at the end. The expected value of the bonus, after wagering loss, is roughly:

$200 (bonus) - $280 (wagering loss expectation) = -$80 expected.

Variance can land that anywhere from -$200 (lose all bonus money to wagering) to +$1,000 or more (hit a meaningful slot win during wagering). The variance is what makes bonuses feel valuable; the expected value is what makes them realistic.

The shorter version: a $200 bonus typically converts to $0–$80 of withdrawable extra money for a player playing carefully on high-RTP slots, with a small probability of converting to substantially more if a hot streak hits during wagering. It is not $200 of free money.

Crypto Variant: 600%

Same structure, same wagering, same caps — just a higher headline percentage. The marginal value over the 500% offer is real but small. If you’re funding via crypto anyway, take it. If you’re funding via card, the 100 percentage points of additional bonus is rarely worth the conversion friction of switching to crypto for one deposit.
